ARMA International's Information Governance Implementation Model (IGIM) 2.0 provides for Authorities including Risk Tolerance and Standards/Practices as well as others; and a Procedural Framework that includes Policies, Procedures, Rules, Guidelines, and Accountability. As an IG leader, where do these come into play beyond your program's framework? Audits and examinations by internal and external groups provide independent assessments of your program in terms of risk management, governance, conformity with internal controls, regulatory compliance, uncovering waste or fraud, as well as for other purposes. Our Speaker: Tod Chernikoff is a Certified Records Manager (CRM), and Information Governance Professional (IGP) and a Certified Information Professional (CIP). He has over twenty-five years of experience providing records and information management and information governance services to organizations and clients. He has served ARMA International in positions at the local, regional, and international levels including as a member of the ARMA International Board of Directors. He received the ICRM's 2014 Alan Andolsen Award in recognition of outstanding CRM Mentorship.
